Czech Radio: Burglars raided Armenian Embassy in Prague

Two offenders broke into the building of the Armenian Embassy in Prague late last year and stole a safe, Czech Radio reported citing its investigative team. Investigators repeatedly secured forensic evidence and obtained video footage showing two men. However, police said the identities of those captured on camera could not be established. The safe was later discovered around 100 metres from the embassy in Nad Šárkou Street. Nothing was missing from its contents. The investigation was later suspended.

Police described the case as the most significant security incident involving diplomatic property in recent years.
