Czech police bring out second unsolved case calendar

The Czech police have brought out a calendar highlighting unsolved murders and missing persons cases, Novinky.cz reported on Sunday. The force decided on the move after a previous effort in 2022 was deemed successful, the news website said. The 2023 edition has only come out now for administrative reasons.

The calendar again features 24 cases, two a month, with the oldest dating back to 1989.

Of 2,000 copies printed this year, 800 are being sent to prisons and 300 to the Probation and Mediation Service, an official told Novinky.cz.
