Czech PM welcomes agreement over future use of e-fuels in car

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has welcome Friday's agreement between Germany and the European Commission in their dispute over the future of cars with combustion engines. According to Mr. Fiala, it is one of the achievements of the Czech EU Presidency. He also said it gave Czechia a better starting point for the negotiations on the proposed Euro 7 standard.

The agreement between Germany and European Commission, which was reached on Friday, allows the registration of new vehicles with combustion engines even after 2035 provided they use climate-neutral fuel only.
