Czech PM: Serbia is ready to donate 100,000 Pfizer vaccines to Czechia

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš hosted his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučič in his official residence of Kramářova Villa in Prague on Wednesday afternoon. After the meeting, Mr. Babiš tweeted that Serbia is ready to donate 100,000 Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines to the Czech Republic. The two leaders also discussed economic cooperation  and the current situation in the Western Balkans.

On Tuesday, the Serbian prime minister met with Czech President Miloš Zeman, after which President Zeman issued an official apology for the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, which the Czech Republic supported as a NATO alliance member.

Prime Minister Babiš has said in the past that he is in favour of Serbia joining the EU.
