Czech PM attending Gdańsk conference on Ukraine's reconstruction
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Regional Development Minister Zuzana Mrázová will represent the Czech Republic at a two-day conference dedicated to Ukraine's post-war reconstruction which begins in the northern Polish city of Gdańsk on Thursday.
According to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, the Gdańsk conference is expected to be the largest event of its kind to date. The scale of the gathering is reflected in the record number of participation requests, with around 9,000 applications submitted.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba said he expects the total value of contracts and agreements signed during the conference to exceed €1.5 billion (more than CZK 36 billion).
