Czech Permanent Representation to EU moves due to renovation

Czechia's Permanent Representation to the European Union, one of the country's key diplomatic missions abroad, has had to relocate due to the renovation of the building in which it is based.

Some 130 officials and diplomats, including ambassadors, have moved just a few minutes' walk away, to an office building on Rue du Trone. The renovation of the building on Rue Caroly, dating back to the 1980s, is expected to take 15 months.

Czechia’s Permanent Representation to the EU includes experts in many fields, from energy and transport to health care, foreign relations and finance.
