Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakušan is attending an informal ministerial summit of the MED5 group, consisting of Italy, Spain, Malta, Cyprus and Greece, which takes place in the Cypriot town of Paphos on Saturday and focuses on illegal migration.
On Friday, the Czech Interior Minister signed an agreement with his Cypriot counterpart Nico Nouris for Czechia to provide one million euros in financial aid to Cyprus to assist the island with voluntary migrant deportations.
