Czech ice hockey team loses to Denmark in first Olympic match
The Czech national ice hockey team has started the Olympic tournament with a defeat. In their first match on Wednesday, the team, headed by coach Filip Pešán, lost 2:1 to Denmark.
The Danes took a two-goal lead in the first half of the match, with Captain Roman Červenka scoring the only goal for the Czech team in the 24th minute.
In their second match on Friday, the Czech Republic will face Switzerland.
