Czech household debts dropped by CZK 20.1 billion month-on-month in April to CZK 2.067 trillion, after rising continuously since February 2016, according to statistics released by the Czech National Bank on Tuesday.

Year-on-year, the debts of Czech households to banks increased by almost CZK 162 billion in April and business debts rose by around CZK 76 billion.

The central bank also pointed out that the figures in the banking statistics for April were affected by the final revocation of Sberbank CZ's banking licence.
