Czech hardy men and women turn out for ice swimming competition in Vltava River

The annual Christmas ice swimming competition in the Vltava River, known as the Alfred Nikodém Memorial, was held for the 76th time on Boxing Day. The temperature of the water was 4.9 °C, and of the air 8.5 °C. Hundreds of fans cheered them on from Legion Bridge.
