Czech freediver breaks world record after swimming 80m under ice

The Czech freediver David Vencl has broken the world record for the longest under-ice dive. Wearing just his swimming trunks and goggles, Mr. Vencl swam 80 meters in the flooded quarry of Vápenka near Teplice, breaking the previous world record held by Dane Stig Severinsen who managed 76.2 meters in 2013.
