Czech foreign minister on visit to Southern Balkans

Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhánek is visiting Northern Macedonia and Albania this weekend, Czech Television reported on Saturday. His meetings with local leaders are set to focus on the expansion of the European Union and the two countries’ stage in the process of entering the EU.

Mr. Kulhánek arrived in the North Macedonian capital of Skopje on Saturday and is set to meet with the president, prime minister and foreign minister of that country. The meetings will also focus on the ongoing deployment of 40 Czech policemen who have been present in the region since the height of the migration crisis.
