Czech foreign minister to hand over first aid packages during next week’s Ukraine visit

The Czech Republic’s Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský is set to hand over 500 first aid packages worth a total of CZK 3.6 million, which the Ministry assembled in cooperation with the Red Cross, during his visit to the Ukraine which is set to take place from Monday to Tuesday next week.

Mr Lipavský will be visiting the war threatened state together with his counterparts from Slovakia and Austria, the Foreign Ministry informed on Friday.

The heads of diplomacy will meet with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, and several other governmental and parliamentary officials. They will also travel to Kharkiv, the city which lies close to Ukraine’s eastern border with Russia.

Foreign Minister Lipavský intends to confirm Czechia’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as for its reforms and Euro-Atlantic orientation.
