Czech firefighters to assist wildfire mission in Greece
A Czech firefighting team will leave for Greece on Tuesday for a month-long deployment to help tackle the country's wildfire risk.
The 22-member team will be stationed near the city of Patras on the Peloponnese, one of Greece's most wildfire-prone regions. They will bring ten vehicles, including three fire engines with water tankers, Fire Rescue Service spokeswoman Klára Ochmanová said.
The Czech Republic is already assisting firefighting efforts in southern France with two helicopters.
