Czech FA awards points to Sparta, imposes fine and four-game ban on fans on Slavia
The Disciplinary Committee of the Czech Football Association has awarded victory in last Saturday’s game between Slavia Prague and Sparta Prague to the latter by default.
Slavia were winning 3-2 at their stadium in Vršovice with only minutes of injury time remaining when the match was abandoned after home fans stormed the pitch and attacked a number of Sparta players.
Under Tuesday’s ruling, Slavia received the maximum possible fine of CZK 10 million. They were also ordered to play their next four league games behind closed doors.
