Czech employers plan to hire more employees in second quarter of 2021, survey shows
There will be more hirings rather than firings among Czech employers in the second quarter of 2021, newly released survey results, conducted by the recruitment agency Manpower, suggests. In total, 13 percent of businesses are planning to hire more employees. Meanwhile, 5 percent are preparing lay-offs. Just below 80 percent of respondents said that they do not plan any personnel changes during the first quarter of the year. The General Manager of ManpowerGroup in Czech Republic and Slovakia Jaroslava Rezlerová told the Czech News Agency that companies in all sectors, with the exception of those active in hospitality and gastronomy, are planning to hire more employees as the coronavirus epidemic subsides.
The survey draws on the answers of 607 respondents active in the Czech private and public sector.
