Czech Defence Ministry wants to increase protection of critical infrastructure
The Czech Ministry of Defence is preparing a change in legislation that would enable more effective protection of critical infrastructure in Czechia due to Russian aggression against, the ministry’s chief Jana Černochová said in a debate programme on Czech Television on Sunday.
Ms. Černochová said she would like to strengthen the powers of the military police and the intelligence service. She would also like to deploy the military to guard strengthen protection of the country’s critical infrastructure objects.
The Defence Minister also said there was a threat from the Russian side to weaken the arms industry in countries that are helping Ukraine.
