Czech central bank keeps interest rates unchanged

The Czech National Bank’s board left the main interest rate unchanged at 3.5 percent at its regular session on Thursday. The Lombard rate remained at 4.5 percent and the discount rate at 2.5 percent. The decision is in line with the central bank’s forecast. Inflation risks on both the upside and downside are balanced in the Czech economy, Governor Aleš Michl said after the meeting.
