Czech capital to host Children and Youth Olympics in 2026
Prague will host the Children and Youth Olympics for the very first time in 2026, the Czech Olympic Committee announced at a press briefing in Prague at which it presented the program and logo of the games. The nationwide sports event will be held from Sunday 21 June to Thursday 26 June 2026. The Children and Youth Olympics is an annual nationwide competition for children aged ten to 16 who compete for medals and also for points for their given region. It has so far only been hosted by the regions. The event is expected to attract up to 4,500 young athletes from across the Czech Republic.
