Czech, Austrian and Slovak foreign ministers meet with their Indian counterpart in Vienna

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Austrian Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg and Slovak Foreign Minister Rastislav Káčer on Monday held talks with their Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Vienna. The talks centered around the war in Ukraine, its global impact and developments in the Indo-Pacific. Mr. Lipavský later said that the Indo-Pacific is an important geopolitical partner for Europe and within its EU Presidency Czechia had actively striven to further bilateral ties with the region. He said that this year he expected to lead a delegation to India that would focus on boosting trade and strengthening cooperation in science, research and innovation.  Minister Lipavský discussed these issues with his Indian counterpart Jaishankar during his official visit to Czechia in June of 2022.
