Czech athlete Zuzana Hejnová announces end of career

Czech athlete Zuzana Hejnová, a two-time world champion in the 400 metres hurdles, has announced the end of her career. The 35-year-old is expecting her first baby, she said in a press release on Tuesday.

Hejnová, one of the most successful Czech female athletes of recent years, won the bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012 and was twice voted the Czech sports personality of the year. She has not been competing in the past two years due to health problems.
