Czech ambassadors returning from foreign posts for annual meeting

Czech ambassadors are once again returning from their posts to convene at an annual summer meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which runs from August 23rd to 27th. Last year, the meeting was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Following opening speeches by Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhánek (Social Democrats) and Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO), diplomats, government officials and other guests will discuss a wide range of topics, including security policy and economic diplomacy. President Miloš Zeman is due to receive ambassadors at Prague Castle.
