CRIF: Companies, self-employed increasingly missing loan payments
Businesses and self-employed people in the Czech Republic are increasingly struggling to make loan payments, CRIF-Czech Credit Bureau announced, based on its analysis of Czech National Bank data.
From November through January, the amount of unpaid loan payments rose 17 percent among businesses and 38 percent among the self-employed. CRIF said coronavirus-related restrictions are the main cause and many borrowers have been reliant on state aid for a year now.
