CR to contribute to joint V4-Germany migration project in Morocco

The Czech Republic looks set to contribute nearly CZK 100 million to a joint migration project organised by the Visegrad Four, Germany and Morocco, the Czech News Agency reported on Saturday. The money would be sent in two donations, according to a paper prepared by the ministries of foreign affairs and interior set to be discussed by the Czech cabinet on Monday.

The Visegrad Four (CR, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary) and Germany agreed to provide aid to Morocco as a source and transit country for illegal migration at a summit in Bratislava in February. Nearly CZK 800 million in total will be put into the project.
