CPI slows down in April

From Producer Price Index onto the Consumer Price Index, and Czech inflation slowed down in April to 3.2 percent year-on-year from 3.7 percent in March, which is the lowest figure for more than two years. The lower inflation rate is mainly due to a slowdown of growth of prices of foodstuffs, natural gas and housing. Economic experts expect the inflation rate to continue decreasing until July to a level of around two percent.
