Covid risk index rises once again
The Czech Republic’s Covid-19 risk index rose from 70 to 73 points out of 100 on Wednesday morning, and is just three points away from the highest, fifth level on the counter-epidemic scale PES.
The reproduction number also saw a slight growth to 0.8.
The number of newly-registered cases on Wednesday reached 9,558.
Restrictions corresponding to level-five remain in place, although the government allowed shops selling stationary goods and children’s clothing to reopen on Tuesday.
