Covid numbers continue to fall with 10,000 seen Thursday

New Covid-19 infections in the Czech Republic continue to decline. Some 10,025 were recorded on Thursday, which was around one-third down on the same day a week earlier. Another 1,845 reinfections were registered, a fall of around 1,000 on last Thursday.

There were 3,200 people in hospital with the coronavirus, 235 of them in a critical condition. Both categories were also lower than seven days previously.
