Covid cases dropping for eight days in succession

The number of new Covid-19 cases have been dropping for eight days in a row in the Czech Republic, suggesting that thanks to the growing number of vaccinated people, the epidemic is coming under control. The Health Ministry reported 75 new cases on Sunday, a decline of 41 compared to the same day the previous week. There are now on average 13 new cases per week per 100,000 inhabitants and the reproduction number at 0.8 is at its lowest since the end of June.
