Covid: 69 cases of death after vaccination recorded in Czechia
The Czech State Institute for Drug Control said it had recorded four cases of death following vaccination against Covid in the past week. In total it has registered 69 such cases. Information on the cases has been forwarded to the European database of suspected adverse reactions for verification.
By Tuesday evening the national drug regulator said over 4,500 people had reported adverse side effects of coronavirus vaccines, which is 330 more than in the previous week.
To date, more than 4.3 million people in the Czech Republic have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, and over 1.1 million are fully vaccinated, according to Ministry of Health data.
