Covid-19: over 1mn Czech residents fully vaccinated
More than 1 million people in the Czech Republic are fully vaccinated against the Covid-19, and over 2 million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to the Ministry of Health.
The country, which has a population of about 10.7 million, began the vaccination drive four months ago. So far, 23.6 percent of the population over the age of 16 have received at least one dose, Health Minister Petr Arenberger said on Twitter.
Currently, anyone over the age of 55 can register for vaccination, either through the national system or through their family doctor.
