Communist Party to decide on continued support for minority government

The leadership of the Communist Party is taking part in an online vote on whether to continue to support the minority government in office. According to party leader Vojtěch Filip pressure is growing within the party for it to withdraw its support over the fact that the government has failed to fulfil the conditions of the deal made three years ago. Representatives of the Communists and the prime minister’s ANO party are expected to meet after Easter to thrash out their differences. General elections are due to take place in the country in October.
