Cold weather, rain and mountain snow expected in Czechia next week

The weather in Czechia is expected to turn significantly colder next week. A cold front moving across the country on Monday is forecast to bring rain, showers and occasional thunderstorms. According to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, temperatures will remain below 20 degrees Celsius for most of the week.

While temperatures could still reach 24 degrees on Sunday, much cooler weather is expected in the days that follow. Meteorologists say the rainfall should help ease the current dry conditions affecting soil and vegetation.

Light snowfall may also appear in the mountains on Tuesday, while ground frost cannot be ruled out on Wednesday morning. Forecasters say the situation may still change in the coming days.
