China condemns Taiwanese Parliament delegation visit to Czechia

The Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic has strongly condemned the ongoing visit of the Speaker of the Taiwanese Parliament, You Si-kun, to Czechia.

According to a statement issued by the embassy’s spokesperson on Wednesday, the Czech Senate and individual politicians are undermining Czech-Chinese political relations and violating China’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity.

You Si-kun arrived in Czechia on Monday along with a delegation of the Taiwanese Parliament for a three-day official visit. In his address to the Czech Senate on Wednesday, he warned against the rise of authoritarianism and dictatorship in the world and pointed to China’s ambitions for power.
