Chief hygiene officer collapses during online cabinet session

The country’s chief hygiene officer Pavla Svrčinová collapsed during Tuesday’s online cabinet session, the news site novinky.cz informed. She was attended to by paramedics and taken to hospital. No information has so far been released on her condition.

The country’s chief hygiene officer is expected to present a new counter-epidemic system which will serve as a base for Covid restrictions in the individual regions once the state of emergency expires on April 11.
