Chamber of Deputies votes to support ban on sale of pyrotechnics in marketplaces

The sale of fireworks in markets and stalls will likely be banned. The only exception should be the least dangerous category of fireworks, which includes items such as firecrackers. This change is expected to come through a government amendment, which was supported on Tuesday in the initial round of approval by the Chamber of Deputies, including votes from the opposition party ANO. The second opposition party, SPD, was unsuccessful in its request to have the amendment sent back to the government for further revision.
