Chamber of Deputies passes proposal to remove automated creation of data boxes for citizens
The Chamber of Deputies on Friday passed a government proposal to remove the obligatory automated creation of so-called data boxes (datové schránky) for citizens, which was supposed to come into operation from January of next year, the Czech News Agency reports.
If the legislation also gets the green light in the upper-house and from the president, it will mean that data boxes will continue to be created for people in Czechia only upon individual request.
