Černochová: Russia situation shows Putin not as strong as propaganda claims

Czech citizens are not currently in any immediate danger in connection with events in Russia, Czech Defence Minister Jana Černochová said on Saturday. She told the Czech News Agency after a meeting with the chief of the General Staff, Karel Řehka, and military intelligence chief, Jan Beroun, that Czechia was closely monitoring the situation.

The minister said the situation showed the regime in Russia is not nearly as strong or as stable as President Putin’s propaganda tries to claim, adding that after 30 years tanks were again headed for Moscow.
