Černochová has basal cell carcinoma removed from her face

Defense Minister Jana Černochová (Spolu) has undergone a minor surgical procedure on her face; doctors at the Central Military Hospital (ÚVN) in Prague removed a basal cell carcinoma. She announced this on Friday on the social network X. A basal cell carcinoma is a malignant skin tumor, but it grows slowly, can be effectively removed, and does not cause metastases. Černochová added that the sample will still undergo testing and urged people not to underestimate the importance of prevention.
