Body of Czech man found shot and buried near Kyiv

Bodies of three men who were shot dead have been discovered near Makariv, in the Bucha Raion of the Kyiv Region in Ukraine. Documents, found in one of the unmarked graves, showed that one of the victims had Czech citizenship, Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda reported on Tuesday. The Czech was a truck driver who was active in Ukraine as a volunteer, news site Novinky.cz reported, citing Kyiv Police.

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and is in contact with the victim’s family, but did not wish to offer any comment at this time.
