Blesk remained most-read Czech daily last year

With an average 1.136 million readers a day, the tabloid Blesk remained the most-read Czech daily newspaper last year, according to a survey by the Czech Publishers’ Association and the STEM/MARK and Median agencies. Mladá fronta Dnes came second with 787,000 daily readers, followed by Deník whose regional editions were on average read by 774,000 people each day. The survey also found that 74 percent of people aged between 12 and 79 read at least one daily newspaper over a two-week period.
