Benefit concert for Ukraine raises tens of millions of crowns

A benefit concert for Ukraine held in Prague on Tuesday evening raised tens of millions of crowns. Organisers Czech Television said that during the three-hour show, which was broadcast live on TV and radio, CZK 22.5 million was generated via SMS donations.

The money is going to the SOS Ukraine collection organised by Czech NGO People in Need.

The concert on Wenceslas Square featured leading domestic artists, including Tomáš Klus, Mirai and Chinaski and members of the Czech Philharmonic.
