Belarusian opposition leader Tichanovskaya guest at Prague’s Forum 2000

The Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tichanovskaya will take part in the international Forum 2000 conference in Prague next week. On Tuesday afternoon (October 13), she will have a discussion with Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček (Social Democrats) on the situation in her country.

The following day, the Belarusian presidential candidate will take part in a debate on the role of women in politics in times of crisis. She will discuss this with Madeleine Albright, the Czech-born the former US Secretary of State, and Polish sociologist Karolina Wigura.
