Belarus extends ban on Škoda imports by six months

The government of Belarus has extended its ban on products from several companies, including Skoda Auto products, the country’s state-owned national news agency BelTA informed on Wednesday. The decision to boycott certain companies was originally made in April in reaction to the refusal of these businesses to sponsor the Ice Hockey World Championships in Belarus.

Aside from Škoda Auto, other companies boycotted on the list include Beiersdorf, the owner of the several cosmetics brands including Nivea.
