Bavaria tightens conditions for Czech cross-border workers
Bavaria has tightened the conditions for Czech cross border workers in connection with the worsening epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic.
Czechs commuting to the border regions to work are only allowed to travel directly to their place of work and directly home at the end of their work day. The only exception is for them to get a PCR test at the nearest testing centre.
Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Soder has not ruled out closing the border if the state of emergency in the Czech Republic is not extended.
