The cross-country skier Lukas Bauer has once again ended just outside the top three in a World Cup race - he came fourth for the third time this season in the 10 kilometre classical and free at Falun, Sweden. Katerina Neumannova had her worst World Cup race of the season - she finished 21st in the 5 km classical and free. That puts her out of the running for a world cup gold. Some other bad news for Katerina Neumannova - she has no chance of a belated Olympic medal, following a ruling that the disgraced Russian skiers who beat her are not to lose their medals.
