Basketball: Czech Republic crushes Greece to advance to Tokyo Olympics

The Czech Republic’s men’s basketball team is headed to the Olympics for the first time in the country’s history after defeating Greece 97-72 in the final of the Olympic qualifying tournament in Victoria, Canada on Sunday.

The Czech Republic dominated Greece from start to finish, leading by as many as 32 points, and became the final team to secure a place in the upcoming Olympic Games. They will be in Group A, facing Iran on July 25, France on July 28 and the United States on July 31.
