Babiš: Prymula will provide crisis management at Ministry of Health

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said he expected the new minister of health, Roman Prymula, would provide crisis management at the government department during the coronavirus epidemic.

He also said at a news conference on Monday afternoon that the revived Central Crisis Staff would be a platform for coordination between the state and the regions. It will be headed by the minister of the interior, Jan Hamáček.

The prime minister did not respond to reports that Mr. Vojtěch would become head of the country’s largest health insurer VZP.

Mr. Babiš  is due to make a televized address to the nation on Monday night.
