Babiš: Patients with chronic diseases to receive special vaccine registration codes

Patients with chronic diseases are to receive special registration codes ahead of vaccination, which will then be shared with their doctors, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said after a government meeting on Tuesday. The system is set to be launched next week. A similar code system is already in use with teachers, who have been designated as a priority group, Mr. Babiš said.

The prime minister was unwilling to disclose whether registration will be expanded beyond the current 70+ plus range in April. He said that there are considerations to lower the age category to either 60+ or 65+.
