Average consumer credit rate rose to 6.2 pct in February

The average consumer loan interest rate rose slightly to 6.20 percent in February. In January, the index returned above 6 percent after a sharp decline at the end of 2020, according to Broker Consulting data, ČTK reports.

The growth trend is likely to be short lived, with the longer-term development of interest rates on consumer loans rather declining, Broker Consulting analyst Martin Novák is quoted as saying.
