Austrian President Van der Bellen on state visit to Czechia
Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen was received with military honours by outgoing President Milos Zeman at Prague Castle on Thursday. In their last one-on-one talks the two heads of state discussed bilateral relations, infrastructure and energy issues as well as the war in Ukraine and aid to the war-torn country. President Zeman leaves office on March 8. The Austrian president is also due to meet with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and representatives of the lower house and the Senate.
